Google is a stock that will always hold a special place in my heart. Just one month after I originally started trading stocks, Google held a dutch auction for its Initial Public Offering. I had just graduated from College and thought the whole process was fascinating. This stock is just a little bit younger than my career but it will always remind me of some of my first experiences in the marketplace.

Today I wanted to break down what I see from both a long-term and short-term perspective. For me, it’s about first understanding how a stock looks structurally, and then based on that, figure out where it might be headed short-term and what the best approach might be tactically.
