Member MicroCap Mashup!

We genuinely appreciate all of our members' interest in our MicroCap research. This week we are interested in what our members are buying to position for 2016. Members know our recent research report and additional play on the TSXV. In around 250 words (short and sweet) share your top current MicroCap investment.

Simply comment your post below, and we will add it to this blog post! As investors we learn the most through constructive dialogue on our thesis' so lets talk MicroCaps!

1) Ted Simmons: Bacanora Minerals

BCN.V or if you like riskier go DJI.V, Lithium miners will be the biggest bull market of 2016, multiple gigafactories coming on line in the next 12-36 months. Not a shortage of Lithium, but there is a shortage of lithium being mined.

2) Maurice: Clinuvel Pharmaceuticals

CUV.AX (CLVLY / CLVLF). Should (finally) launch in Europe in '16 for EPP. High price therapy with low burn and possible to expand to Vitiligo/other uses. Risky especially since I'm not a fan of management but very low market cap given assets.

3) Yazan Al Homsi: Moseda Technologies

Moseda Technologies (MSD.V / FLNTF) is our top pick, which is a software developer of secure mobile health “mHealth” and telemedicine solutions for the institutional and home healthcare sectors. At a valuation of c. 10m Canadian or 7.3m USD this revenue play presents a very compelling growth opportunity that should translate to a higher valuation over the next 12 months. Tom & Sujan were kind enough to allow me to post a summary of Moseda Technologies here.

4) Graham Jervis: OptimizeRX

Apart from your research report play getting traction in 2016, my other pick is OptimizeRx, OPRX. They are creating their own market and already have 2/3rds of it. Clean balance sheet, loaded with cash and a long runway of growth.

5) Titloaz: Cirque Energy

Cirque Energy (CRQE) (still a startup so very risky but worth a look).

Cirque Energy, in conjunction with Northrop Grumman Corporation have jointly developed a Deployable Gasification Unit (DGU) for sale to military, government, industrial and commercial customers. The DGUs utilize Cirque Energy's gasification and syngas condition technology, coupled with conventional reciprocating engine generator technology. Any carbon-based waste stream (MSW, biomass, etc) of approximately 2-10 tons per day can be cleanly and efficiently turned into combined heat and power (CHP) energy.

I am very enthusiastic about waste to energy technologies and systems, especially for CRQE which has a lot of projects to come to fruition in 2016. As the Clean Power Plan of the United States EPA begin to take force, all renewable technologies will be incentivized. Waste to energy will benefit as well. And as the world-wide focus is drawn to Climate change and the reduction of fossil fuel technologies, waste to energy technologies will take a portion of the vacated space and the technologies and the demand for the applications is at an all-time high. I think It is a good time to be in the renewable technology space.
