Transparency On All Fronts

This morning we had an outage on the website from 9:21am EST until 9:36am EST.

A lot of companies would not alert theirs customers and leads about something like this "just in case" you missed it.

Not us. Not when we preach transparency in trading  and consider it our value proposition to our members.

Our outage was due to an unusual spike in traffic and email requests. We had developers stopping off on the side of the road or jumping into a coffee shop on the way in to work so we could get back up and running.

A 15 minute outage is a lifetime, especially at the open. We have put the proper precautions in place moving forward to ensure we do not experience this again.

I take this as a learning lesson, just as I would in my trading.

In college my basketball coach used to always tell me after a turnover, "It's not the mistake that makes it a failure or succes, but rather the choices you make afterwards that defines the outcome."
