I'll be on Capitol Hill Friday & I'm a Circle Customer

Bulls, I have two exciting news items to share with you!

First - Capitol Hill

I'll be on Capitol Hill Friday educating policy makers about bitcoin!

This Congressional Bitcoin Education Day is being organized by the Digital Chamber. They are excited to have me help with education because of my ability to explain bitcoin in plain English.

As I speak with policy makers I'll be gauging their sentiment on bitcoin and knowledge level. Of course I'll be bringing this information back to subscribers in future posts.

Second - I'm a Circle Customer!

Today I received my Circle invite!

I initially signed up online in March of this year, later signed up online in May, and even tracked down a phone number to call them and ask for an invite.

Interesting to note, it was the email address from my May account that was accepted.

I tested the service and recorded my session. Unfortunately Circle isn't as instant as I'd hoped so I will have a full review next week.

P.S. About that Circle Call

Last month I wrote that Circle would increase buying pressure. I still believe that is true, although the timing wasn't as soon as I thought. Circle had stated all the invites would go out in July. Since I just got my invite and it is the end of August it looks like the backlog was bigger than expected.

Also about that call, the New York regs were proposed a few days later. I'm sure all of us were shocked at how stifling they were. Fortunately for us I correctly predicted the regs would have a chilling effect on bitcoin's price. Unfortunately for us I was right.

Well thats a long P.S.! I'm excited about the Bitcoin Bulls rebrand and I'm excited about going to Capitol Hill Friday! Hopefully we can get some good regulations in place for this thriving industry!
